Job description : Land Sales Agent

Our Client is a London based land investment firm, specialising in the acquisition and sale of strategic land sites throughout the UK and Europe.
Their objective is to make investing in land as easy and straightforward as investing in bonds or equities, enabling their clients to diversify their portfolio by selling them house sized plots of land with clean title in strategic areas but not yet designated for dwellings.
Due to a marked increase in business, they are looking for two more Account Openers in their status offices in North West London.
These posts are progressive and subject o results should Lead to senior land agent status in 6 months.

Duties:-
Cold calling, management of sales leads, introducing the concept (not selling initially) of strategic land to prospective clients and getting them to agree to receive information on the company’s services. The qualified (interested) clients are to be teed up for a second call which involves the potential client being made aware of a particular site or opportunity. Once these two calls are effected, the client is passed onto a senior account manager who will close the business for the account opener and manage the client.
These posts are commission only, earning 10% of the gross land parcels for each successful deal. We are only interested in ‘Big Hitters’
The average deal is circa £10,000, so earnings should exceed £60000 annually.
When the successful land sales agent is promoted to senior land agent, bonuses are significantly higher and six figures+ are achievable.
Office hours are recognized, 5 days per week, but out of hours work will eventually become inevitable to contact the decision makers at home.

At least 2 year’s telephone selling experience

Exemplary powers of communication, both verbal and written


Preferred attributes
A knowledge of land purchase and disposal
An obsession for compliance
A strong interest in investment portfolios and equities
Good tertiary education
